How you can help

Service

All our programs need staff. We would pray that God would send us the individuals to help make our projects benefit our brothers and sisters in Haiti

Prayer

Prayer works. We cannot do this on our own strength. We need prayer warriors around the globe to help.

Funding

Every project we participate takes resources. We have been given so much by our Heavenly Father. It is our joy to share our blessings with those around us. We do our best to maximize every dollar’s blessing for our brothers & sisters in Haiti.  Will you join us in sharing with those who have so little?

Our History

Joe Miller (Papa Joe) felt the call to missions and first visited Haiti in 1975. While on one of his trips Joe met up with the Pastor Joseph Daatus, pastor with the Church of God in Christ. After seeing they had very similar beliefs Joe decided to work through this native church organization. Joe and his family would spend 3 months every winter serving the Hatian people before returning to his job.

In 1993 Joe passed way in Haiti working among the people he loved. The work continues under the Board of Directors. We currently work very close with native Pastor Jorel Naurelus who oversees the church in Haiti.

IFH endeavors to work through the native church organization in providing help for individuals through the local body of believers.

Their are currently 63 churches that represent 15,000 people and 23 schools that represent 23,000 children. Each church ordains its own ministers and deacons from their own assembly.
